It depends! Length of contracts vary by service and client needs. Gnerally speaking, placemaking site visits usually take 1-2 days. Property visioining often involves a series of listening sessions over the course of 3-6 months. Real estate coaching for development projects may take as long as a year or more.

No and yes! While we are not licensed brokers with access to property listings, we can guide your team on discerning your priorities and negotiables in finding your future property. We can also advise on what to consider during your property search and help you with property negotiations when it comes time.

Yes! However, we are not licensed brokers and cannot legally earn a commission from a property sale. Because we are not seeking to make the highest commission, we invest our time and energy in helping you achieve the appropriate balance between revenue and mission when it comes to selling all or part of your property. We will guide you on sale negotiations with your mission interests in mind.

So many ways! We can help you identify the strategic questions to ask and the people to talk to that will help you discover the options that best fit your context. We also help you discern your time and investment capacity and navigate the liability concerns that come with reimagining church space for alternative uses.

Good question! Placemaking is a term we use for the process of making the exterior of your church property more hospitable and delightful for your congregation and the broader community. We like to say it is the art of transforming spaces to pass through into welcoming places to be. We believe you can build trust and connections with your neighbors through public space that is designed to cultivate interactions of rest and play with one another.
